France survived a scare before booking their spot at Euro 2012 after a 1-1 draw with Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Laurent Blanc's side went into the game a point ahead of Bosnia and the draw was good enough to secure their place at next summer's finals in Poland and Ukraine.

Bosnia-Herzegovina threatened an upset when Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko fired the visitors in front five minutes before the break.

France pushed for an equaliser in the second half and they won a penalty 12 minutes from time when Nasri was felled in the box.

Crucial

And the City midfielder picked himself up to fire home the crucial penalty to send the home fans into raptures.

The draw means Bosnia-Herzegovina will now contest a play-off after finishing second in Group D.

Srgian Luchin's late goal salvaged Romania a 1-1 draw with Albania in their final qualifier.

Albania looked on course for a shock win when Hamdi Salihi gave them the lead after 24 minutes, but Luchin popped up with an equaliser 13 minutes from time to give Romania a share of the spoils.
