Jonathan Zebina has been included in France's squad for next month's qualifiers.Jonathan Zebina's pleas for international recognition have been answered after he was included in France's squad for next month's World Cup qualifiers.
The Juventus defender recently criticised France coach Raymond Domenech for overlooking him since he replaced Jacques Santini at the helm.
Domenech has clearly not taken umbrage at Zebina's comments and named the stopper in the squad for the games against Republic of Ireland and Cyprus.
Zebina has yet to make his debut for Les Bleus and will be hoping to be given the nod to start in the crunch qualifiers.
There are six Premiership-based players in the squad - Arsenal trio Patrick Vieira, Robert Pires and Thierry Henry, Manchester United's Mikael Silvestre, Chelsea's William Gallas and Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse.
Rangers centre half Jean-Alain Boumsong has also been picked while Olivier Dacourt, Rio Mavuba and Sidney Govou have been recalled.
Benoit Pedretti and Jerome Rothen are injured while Peguy Luyindula has lost his place in the French set-up.
Les Bleus entertain Ireland at Stade de France on October 9 before an away game against minnows Cyprus four days later.
