Three goals in the last 19 minutes gave Germany a 3-0 win over ten-man Cameroon.

The 2006 World Cup hosts played a strong line-up, but had to wait until the second half to take the lead.

Kevin Kuranyi put Germany ahead after 71 minutes and not long after Miroslav Klose added a second.

Manchester United's Eric Djemba-Djemba was then sent off, as Cameroon's night went from bad to worse.

Klose sealed the win with just two minutes left when he headed a second.

A host of British-based players were involved in Leipzig with Jens Lehmann, Thomas Hitzlsperger, Robert Huth, Geremi and Joseph-Desire Job all featuring.
