Keogh gets call from Trapattoni
Leon Best and Liam Lawrence have withdrawn from the Republic of Ireland squad for next week's Carling Nations Cup clash with Wales.
Newcastle striker Best has pulled out with a hamstring injury he sustained in his side's incredible 4-4 draw with Arsenal.
Best's injury is another blow for Newcastle after Shola Ameobi picked up a fractured cheekbone earlier this week just two days after selling Andy Carroll to Liverpool.
Bristol City striker Andy Keogh has been drafted in as a replacement by Republic of Ireland boss Giovanni Trapattoni.
Portsmouth midfielder Liam Lawrence has also withdrawn because of a calf problem he sustained in his side's 1-1 draw with Derby on Saturday.
