Skysports.com understands Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Lee Camp is poised to win his first call-up to the Northern Ireland squad for the forthcoming Euro 2012 qualifying double-header.
Camp qualifies for Northern Ireland through his Belfast-born grandfather and he decided to try and play for Nigel Worthington's side after giving up on England.
The former England Under-21 goalkeeper was given the all-clear last month to pledge his international allegiance to Northern Ireland.
Camp has been in outstanding form for Nottingham Forest this season with his performances attracting interest from a number of Premier League clubs.
Worthington is now ready to bring him into the squad for the games against Serbia and Slovenia later this month.
Camp will battle current No.1 Maik Taylor for the goalkeeping jersey in Worthington's starting XI.
