Northern Ireland have suffered a blow with the news that Sammy Clingan, Stephen Craigan and Michael Duff have all withdrawn from their squad for the World Cup qualifiers with Slovenia and San Marino.
The trio only add to manager Nigel Worthington's woes as they follow Chris Brunt out of the squad.
Clingan has a shoulder problem, Motherwell defender Craigan is suffering from a pelvic injury, while Burnley's Duff has a rib complaint.
The Irish Football Association confirmed that Manchester City full-back Ryan McGivern has been called up as cover ahead of the clash in Slovenia on Saturday.
Slovenia also have injury worries and they have added two more players to their squad.
Coach Matjaz Kek has brought in Aleksander Radosavljevic and Ales Mejac for the game.
