England have dropped two places to fifth in the latest world rankings issued by FIFA.
Reigning world and European champions Spain remain top of the list ahead of Germany, while Portugal have climbed into the top three.
Argentina have also jumped ahead of England into fourth, with Roy Hodgson's side slipping down the rankings following their disappointing 1-1 draw with Ukraine last month.
Colombia have broken into the top 10 after moving up 13 places, while Greece have jumped one place to 10th.
But Brazil have dropped a further two places to 14th as Holland, Uruguay and Italy complete the top 10.
The Republic of Ireland are 28th, while Scotland fall nine places to 56th and Wales are down 12 to 57th.
Northern Ireland have gone in the right direction, up 12 spots to 117th, despite being held to a 1-1 draw with Luxembourg.
