Harry Redknapp: Open to offers and looking to get back into management
Harry Redknapp is keeping his options open and waiting on the right offer to entice him back into management.
The 65-year-old parted company with Tottenham in the summer having previously been the favourite for the England post after Fabio Capello resigned from the role, only for Roy Hodgson to be appointed.
He now finds himself out of the game, a position he has grown unaccustomed to down the years.
Redknapp has snubbed a number of approaches, most notably from abroad, but insists he is keen to get back into the dugout and would be willing to work for an ambitious and well run club.
"I am enjoying it and if something good comes along that interested me, I'd be interested in getting back in again," he said.
"It would have to be something I'd really want to do. I wouldn't just dive in and take any job for the sake of it.
"I worked with good players the last eight or nine years or so and enjoyed it, so that is where I want to be.
"I've had offers from abroad - quite a few good offers from decent clubs abroad - but they've not really interested me so I've not sort of done anything with any of them."
Redknapp, who has been keeping away from Premier League games in an effort to avoid stirring up speculation, has a proven track record when it comes to domestic management, but he admits he could be tempted onto the international stage if an intriguing offer comes along.
He added: "I would consider it, if it was the right job, yeah.
"If it was something where you had the chance to be successful and do well with that team, wherever it would be, I would be interested, but who knows?
"You can never say never. You never know in this game."
