Republic of Ireland coach Giovanni Trapattoni insists he is not keen on taking the vacant post at Blackburn.
The 73-year-old rebuffed speculation that his advisors had been in contact with Rovers owners Venky's as they look for a successor to Steve Kean.
Trapattoni remains focused on Ireland's World Cup qualifying campaign and made his position clear as he prepares his squad for the match with Germany on Friday.
"I'm not aware of it. It must be agent chit-chat," Trapattoni said. "I'm not interested anyway. I am concentrating on the task in hand."
Rovers parted company with Kean on 28 September despite the team making a positive start to their Championship campaign.
The 45-year-old Scot had been subjected to a long-running hate campaign from a section of the Ewood Park fans.
