Goalkeeper having tests to determine unknown illness

Hannover's Germany international Robert Enke will miss the clash with Borussia Dortmund on Saturday with a mystery illness. The goalkeeper, who is one of four battling for the No.1 shirt with the national side, continues to undergo tests after missing Germany's clash with Azerbaijan last week through illness. Enke looks likely to miss next month's World Cup qualifier against Russia, who trail the Germans by just one point at the top of Group Four. "Final results should not be expected before the end of the week," said a club statement from Hannover. "Until the diagnosis, Robert will only be participating in a light individual training. So he will not be available for the match against Dortmund," the club added. The 32-year-old, who has eight international caps, will continue to undergo limited training until the extent of his symptoms is confirmed. Tim Wiese, Rene Adler and Manuel Neuer are in line to deputise in national coach Joachim Low's side next month as Germany seek to cement a first-choice goalkeeper before South Africa next summer.
