Primera Liga
Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring in
Real Madrid's 3-0 home win over Sevilla in the early kick-off on Sunday to move a step nearer to a 32nd Primera Liga title.
Jose Mourinho's men could have been assured the title if Barcelona had lost at Rayo Vallecano but the defending champions made their arch-rivals wait in
emphatic style by dishing out a 7-0 thrashing.
Lionel Messi and Pedro both hit braces in a thumping win.

Malaga beat Valencia 1-0 to move level on points with Los Che in third courtesy of Nacho Camacho's first-half header.

There were defeats for all of the bottom three in Germany to clarify the situation at the bottom of the Bundesliga.
Already-relegated
Kaiserslautern suffered a 5-2 reverse against champions Borussia Dortmund with Lucas Barrios scoring a hat-trick for BVB.
Hertha Berlin and Cologne both lost so their battle against the drop will go the final day.
It was Schalke that crushed Hertha's hopes with a
4-0 win in Gelsenkirchen - Raul among the scorers in his final game at the Veltins Arena to help seal third spot for his side.
Serie A
AC Milan kept up the pressure on Juventus as two goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic helped the Rossoneri to
a 4-1 win at Siena.
But the league leaders were able to find four goals of their own as they
won 4-0 at Novara to make it eight wins in a row.
Mirko Vucinic grabbed a brace and Antonio Conte's team remain three points clear and three Serie A games away from going through the entire league season unbeaten.
That result put Novara on the brink of relegation along with Cesena, and the third relegated team will be either Genoa or Lecce, who both lost at the weekend.
But perhaps the most fascinating battle in Italy is for the third and final Champions League spot with Napoli, Udinese, Inter and Lazio now all tied on 55 points.

Udinese's 2-0 home win against Lazio on Sunday has tightened things up with Antonio Di Natale's spectacular volley putting them on their way.

Eden Hazard scored from the spot before Nolan Roux won it for the home side late on to help Lille close the gap on PSG to two points, with Montpellier a further five points ahead with four games to play.

pulled off a stunning 4-0 home win against Brest to keep their hopes of beating the drop alive.
Eredivisie
Ajax need just one point next weekend to retain their Eredivisie crown with a game to spare after Gregory van der Wiel's winner gave them a
2-1 win at Twente.
Feyenoord are now in second place after a
1-0 home win over AZ Alkmaar courtesy of an Otman Bakkal goal that saw them leapfrog the visitors.
PSV also went above AZ in the table after a
convincing 3-1 win at Roda JC.
SPL
Celtic heaped further misery on administration-hit Rangers as they beat their Old Firm rivals 3-0 at Celtic Park. Goals from Charlie Mulgrew, Kris Commons and Gary Hooper secured the win.
Dunfermline gave their chances of survival a huge boost with a
3-0 home win against Aberdeen to close the gap on Hibernian, who
lost 1-0 at St Mirren.

Porto were confirmed as champions of Portugal for a 26th time after Benfica were held to a 2-2 draw at Rio Ave on Sunday.
