Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong is due to hold talks with Austrian outfit Sturm Graz.

The 22-year-old midfielder is a free agent after leaving Barnsley in the summer, and now the Ghana international is ready to continue his career abroad.

Frimpong came through the youth system at the Emirates, and played in the Premier League for Arsene Wenger's side.

Injury curtailed his progress and he subsequently had loan moves to Wolves, Charlton and Fulham before he moved to the Championship with Barnsley last term.

Now Sturm Graz have made their move and Frimpong is heading to Austria to talk over a deal.
