Eidur Gudjohnsen's next port of call is to be the Greek top flight, as he has agreed a move to AEK Athens.
The former Chelsea and Barcelona man was wanted by West Ham at one stage this summer, but Sam Allardyce ended his interest after the saga dragged on too long.
The Icelandic forward has opted against a switch to a different English club and has instead penned a two-year contract with AEK.
The move sees Gudjohnsen turn his back on the Premier League following a difficult 18 months.
A loan switch to Tottenham in 2009/10 failed to earn him a permanent stay at White Hart Lane, while a move to Stoke saw him struggle to force his way into Tony Pulis' plans.
Another loan stint at Fulham at the end of last season proved to be more productive, but Gudjohnsen now finds himself on the move once this again.
The 32-year-old - who has also turned out for PSV Eindhoven, Bolton and Monaco - will be hoping to help Greek Cup winners AEK challenge for silverware once again in 2011/12.
He said: "I'm happy and excited to be here. It is a new step in my career and
a challenge for me. I will give it my all."
