Djibril Cisse has spoken of his delight at joining Greek giants Panathinaikos.
The French striker completed his switch from Marseille to the Olympic Stadium on Friday, signing a four-year contract.
And former Sunderland loanee Cisse is eagerly anticipating the next chapter of his career.
After his arrival in Athens, he told skysports.com: "This is what I call fans, they are happy for me to sign for their club.
"People will ask why I have signed in Greece. Don't forget recently they won the European Cup, they are one of the top football nations in Europe.
"The league will be fascinating, I can't wait to start with them. I am happy to come to the club."
