French striker still wanted by Del Neri, according to his agent

David Trezeguet is poised to stay at Juventus after the club rejected offers from abroad for his services. The French striker's future had been in serious doubt after falling out of favour with the Italian giants, scoring just eight goals in two seasons for the club. But according to the player's agent, new coach Luigi Del Neri has insisted that Trezeguet was part of his plans, stating that Juve rejected offers from Turkey and the USA for the player, who has been with the club for 10 years. "Trezeguet is part of Del Neri's plans, and one offer from the USA and two from Turkey have been rejected," Trezeguet's agent Antonio Caliendo told Tuttomercatoweb.com. "One was from Fenerbahce, and the other was a mega-galactic offer from Trabzonspor. In any case he has a contract with Juventus and he intends to respect that."
