Olympiakos have agreed terms with San Lorenzo for defensive midfielder Cristian Ledesma, the former River Plate player is expected to undergo a medical in Athens next week.
It is reported that 'The Wolf' will sign a three-year contract and will cost ‚é¼1.6million (£1.1million).
Ledesma said: "This is a very important chance for me - to play in Europe and I can't afford to let it go by."
The Argentinian thanked his fans and former manager Ramon Diaz, he also revealed the appeal of playing with some of his compatriots.
"I have already arranged my contract with Olympiakos. I am very thankful to the people of San Lorenzo and Ramon Diaz," Ledesma added.
"I am glad to have the chance to be transferred to a team that will play in the Champions League and to meet with players from Argentina like Luciano Galetti and Leonel Nunez."
