Sex Pistols' Steve Jones picks his dream five-a-side team...
Sex Pistols' Steve Jones may have left West London behind for the sunnier climes of Beverley Hills, but the guitarist is still an avid follower of his beloved Chelsea and went through the same euphoria and self-confessed disbelief of any other Blues fan when they finally ended their long hunt for UEFA Champions League glory last season.
It's no surprise, then, that his fantasy five-a-side team is tinted blue, with his choices spanning from a legendary Chelsea goalkeeper right up to the frontman that put the ribbon on his side's much-coveted European success back in May.
Jones, who is preparing to celebrate the 35th anniversary of one of the most iconic and influential albums in music history - 'Never Mind The B*****ks, Here's The Sex Pistols' - with the release of the super deluxe box set next month, talked to Sky Sports all the way from Los Angeles to launch our new Take Five feature.
He was like a cat, he was incredible. Maybe, looking back, he wasn't as good. But back then, when no-one lifted any weights or anything, and everything was pretty much out of shape, I thought he was a pretty amazing goalkeeper. There were loads of times he would do some amazing things.
John Terry (captain)
I think he's a little bit past it now but maybe he's just out of shape. You can't really tell until the season really starts. He was a bit shaky last year but he had a good Euros. He's always been a leader, so you've got to give him the captain's armband.
He was a great player, just a legend. He did some incredible things. He'd always take on players and he never bottled it. He was always great going forward and he was great to watch. He was a real hard-worker.
Going away from Chelsea, I like Beckham. I don't know why he got the elbow for the Olympics. It ain't his fitness, the geezer is still fit as a fiddle. He does what he always does - he doesn't tackle, and he doesn't run that much, but he's good at what he does. I don't see why he didn't get put in there.
It was an amazing farewell last season. That winning Champions League goal has got to be his defining moment - that was incredible. He scored some blinders before, really good goals, but what was going on, and the pressure and all that, and the way he was just cool about it. I hope Torres can fill his shoes this season but he's a different guy than Drogba. Drogba had that special thing. Torres could be good but he likes to hover around the goal and be laid on - which is what no-one did with him really last season.
Five songs Steve would have on in the dressing room to fire up his side...
The Sex Pistols - No Feelings
Faces - Miss Judy's Farm
Roxy Music - Virginia Plain
Freddy King - Going Down (but not as in relegation!)
Dave and Ansell Collins - Double Barrel
