We look at who is being backed to pick up points in Sky Sports Fantasy Football this weekend.
Rooney is a man in high demand ahead of Super Sunday's headliner.
He may be back in a Manchester United shirt rather than an England one, but Wayne Rooney will be carrying the hopes of much of the nation again when Chelsea visit Old Trafford on
Super Sunday.
Nearly half of
Sky Sports Fantasy Football bosses have him in their teams ahead of the highest-profile showdown of the season so far, live on Sky Sports HD1.
The United striker has started the season in sensational form, more than justifying his price tag of £9.9m with 61 points after just four games - half the amount he picked up in the whole of last season.
That form has prompted Fantasy bosses to make Rooney the most popular player in the game, overtaking Liverpool striker Luis Suarez (£8.8m), with a place in 43% of teams.
The United striker heads in to the game following back-to-back hat-tricks, but it is difficult to see him continuing with such a rampant goal rate in a traditionally tightly-fought fixture, with a single goal deciding the winner in the six meetings between these sides in the Premier League and Europe.
With United and Chelsea also meeting in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, Rooney scored twice in their four meetings last season, both times at Stamford Bridge, while his striker partner broke the deadline in the last two clashes at Old Trafford.
Hernandez (£9.2m) slotted seamlessly back in to United's line-up with a brace in their 5-0 hammering of Bolton to rack up 12 points, while Phil Jones also scored big with two assists and is a bargain at £5.7m.
While United have blown away all in their path, Chelsea have looked relatively uninspiring with Fernando Torres (£9.4m) yet to net and their previously stubborn backline has looking leaky.
Torres tamed
Torres should start at Old Trafford with Didier Drogba unlikely to recover from concussion while Daniel Sturridge (£6.1m) may also be given a chance after netting against Sunderland.
But it is summer signing Juan Mata (£7.8m) who looks the Blues' most impressive performer so far having netted on his Premier League debut and in Europe midweek.
In
Super Sunday's other big game, Tottenham host Liverpool in a clash that is likely to have a major bearing on the race for a top-four spot.
Spurs are buoyed by a win at Wolves thanks to strikes from debutant Emmanuel Adebayor (£6.2m) and Jermain Defoe (£7.7m), while Liverpool were frustrated in a 1-0 defeat at Stoke last weekend.
Scott Parker (5.7m) also impressed on his Spurs debut with an assist and the
Sky Sports man of the match award to pick up nine points, but his defensive responsibilities are unlikely to see him rack up big points throughout the season.
Rafael van der Vaart (£8.7m), in contrast, notched up 132 points last term and expects to be fit in time to face the Reds, but may have to be content with a spot of the bench with Defoe and Adebayor linking up well at Molineux.
Suarez and Charlie Adam (£5.9m) had been scoring well for the Reds prior to the trip to Stoke, with 18 and 23 points respectively, while Kenny Dalglish will have to decide whether to recall Andy Carroll (£9.2m) after benching his targetman for the last two games.
Euro hangover?
One side with loftier ambitions than just a top-four spot are Manchester City, who will be looking to remain perfect and avoided being branded with the Euro hangover label when they visit Fulham.
The Cottagers remain winless with big-money deadline day signing Bryan Ruiz (5.7m) failing to make an impact on debut, while City have netted 15 goals already courtesy of a six goals apiece from Sergio Aguero (£(9.6m) and Edin Dzeko (£8m).
Dzeko may be the cheaper option out of City's galaxy of stars but, as seen last weekend, is susceptible to being benched with Carlos Tevez (£10m) back in contention and offering added points possibilities from set-pieces.
David Silva (£8.4m) looks to be one of the first names on Roberto Mancini's team sheet having scored twice and set-up another couple in racking up 34 points, while Samir Nasri already has 17 points from two games thanks to four assists.
Ivan Klasnic (£5.6m) also looks worth backing to bag when winless Norwich visit the Reebok, having scored in all three of Bolton's games before their hammering by United.
The second most popular defender Leighton Baines (£7.1m) continues to score well, taking his total to 18 with a goal against Aston Villa last week, and has inherited all set-piece taking responsibilities following Mikel Arteta's move to Arsenal.
Arteta remains one of the most transferred in players following the deadline day deals, offering great value at £5.1m, while Ashley Young (£7.9m) is also attracting plenty of interest with 33 points already to his name.
