Molde goalkeeper Orjan Nyland admits he could not resist a move to the Premier League with Cardiff City, if his former boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer came calling.
The 23-year-old Norway international has been strongly tipped to be next in line for Solskjaer, once he has finalised deals for midfielders Mats Moller Daehli and Magnus Wolff Eikrem.
Daehli is a current team-mate of Nyland at Molde, whilst Eikrem is a former colleague having moved to Heerenveen last summer.
Whilst Nyland admits he could not resist a Premier League move, he insists he has not heard anything from his former boss.
"Cardiff in the Premier League. I do not really need to say more than that," Nyland told Romsdals Budstikka.
"But I have not heard anything about it in any case. As far as I know it's just rumours.
"I think it's natural that, when managers change clubs, then the players from his former club are linked. But personally I do not think anything of it at all."
Nyland, who has one cap for Norway, is contracted to Molde until 2018.
