Jores Okore: Caught the eye during a Champions League clash with Chelsea
Nordsjaelland defender Jores Okore has refused to rule out the prospect of securing a summer switch in 2013.
The 20-year-old is eager to test himself at a higher level on a regular basis, having built his reputation in Denmark.
He is among those to have caught the eye for Nordsjaelland is this season's UEFA Champions League, with an impressive outing against holders Chelsea suggesting he has what it takes to compete alongside the best in the business.
Okore is in no rush to turn his back on his current employers, but admits to being open to offers.
"I use a lot of time and energy assessing my situation," he told bold.dk.
"I do want to stay in Nordsjaelland because everything is going so well, but there comes a time when you need to move things along.
"It is all about timing and deciding when you will be ready to play with the big boys abroad."
Pressed on when the right time will be, Okore added: "We have not discussed the situation yet, but I guess it could happen during the winter or summer when transfer activity is allowed.
"If the club can find me an interesting offer then I might move during the summer."
Chelsea have already been linked with a move for Okore, while reports suggest he has been recommended to Manchester United by former Denmark international and Old Trafford legend Peter Schmeichel.
