David Healy has given Northern Ireland an injury scare after limping out of training on Monday.

Fulham striker Healy took a kick on his calf and came off as a precautionary measure, according to the Irish Football Association.

The injury is a major worry for Northern Ireland ahead of their crucial Euro 2008 qualifier with Iceland on Wednesday.

Healy is not the only concern for manager Nigel Worthington, as he looks for his team to bounce back following the 1-0 defeat away to Latvia.

Sheffield United winger Keith Gillespie and Jonny Evans are also facing a race to be fit to face Iceland.

Both players sat out training on Monday, Gillespie with a bruised knee and Evans with a bruised ankle.
