Ibraimi is well known in England, having scored against their Under-21s home and away during the 2011 European U21 Championship qualifying campaign.

The 25-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Cagliari, scored two goals to help Maribor overcome Maccabi Tel Aviv in the last Champions League qualifying round to set up the play-off tie against Celtic.

Scouts from the likes of Southampton and Newcastle are thought to be ready to cast an eye over Ibrahim against Celtic as they weigh up a possible move for the skilful wide-man.

Maribor are reluctant to lose Ibraimi, but are bracing themselves for offers for the player before the transfer window closes.
