The Gunners have made productive openings to their domestic and European campaigns this term - sitting top of their respective tables.
Nine wins have already been collected from 12 outings in the Premier League, while just one reversal has been suffered in four continental contests.
Arsene Wenger's men would appear to be heading for the last 16 of the Champions League and Baup, who will send his troops into battle at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday, sees no reason why Arsene Wenger's side cannot go all the way if they maintain their current momentum.
He said: "Arsenal are an extremely strong side in these competitions.
"They are the best side in our group and are going to qualify.
"When you get to the last 16 and the quarter-finals, the teams are all very close together.
"However, this season Arsenal have an undeniable attacking quality."
Marseille head into a midweek encounter in north London sat bottom of Group F, but Baup is determined to ensure that they do not bow out empty-handed.
He added: "We do not want to end with no points - we need to put in our best possible performances in the final two games of the group.
"Our squad is made up of young players who have a desire to improve and the experience of the Champions League will give them motivation, but also they have to realise how much work we still have to do.
"They wall want to be back here and that is what we need to focus on.
"As soon as we had the draw, everyone put us as fourth in the group. But we have always tried to play our right game and play well against teams who were better than us from the start."
