Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci has dismissed suggestions that his side will play for a draw with Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The Italian champions will head into their final Group E game in Ukraine in second place with nine points, one behind leaders Shakhtar and two ahead of third-placed Chelsea.
A draw in Donetsk will send both sides through and will knock the Blues out of the competition, and there have been suggestions that Shakhtar and Juventus have already agreed on that result.
However, Bonucci has laughed off those rumours, claiming that the Bianconeri will play to win on Wednesday.
"When I heard those rumours it was only possible to laugh out loud," he is quoted as saying in The Daily Star.
"Juventus is an historic club that only fights to win. I understand Chelsea fans fear being knocked out, but they only have their own players to blame for not playing well enough."
Shakhtar defender Dario Srna too insisted that his side are determined to beat Juventus and progress to the last 16 as group winners.
"I'm content if Chelsea go out," he said. "The rumours are not true. We have never agreed to draw a game.
"We want to finish as group winners and Juventus want the same thing. It's impossible to plan for a draw.
"If Chelsea can't finish in the top two, they don't deserve to go through."
