Winger looking for move within the Dutch league

Reported Middlesbrough target Yanic Wildschut is not interested in a move abroad, according to his agent. The VVV Venlo winger has attracted attention following an impressive campaign with the Eredivisie side, playing on the left flank. But while the 20-year-old is eyeing a move, his agent Johan Wins has stressed that he sees Wildschut's next club being in Holland. "We have told the VVV board that our main aim is a step up for Yanic within the Dutch league," Wins told Voetbal International. "If that doesn't work out we can always look further. "Of course, a longer stay at VVV Venlo also won't be a shame. But at the moment he is ready for the next phase of his career." The former Ajax youngster has already been the subject of bids from FC Groningen and Belgian club Standard Liege but both offers were rejected by VVV.
