The former Holland U-21 international has agreed to join the Tractor Boys on a deal that will see him at Portman Road until 4th January if it is completed by Thursday's 5pm loan deadline.

Zuiverloon was a fixture during West Brom's Premier League campaign in the 2008/09 season after joining from Heerenveen.

But the 23-year-old full-back has found game time at the Hawthorns harder to come by this time around and is yet to make a top-flight appearance.

And the defender looks set for a stint at Roy Keane's side, who are short on defenders with Luke Hyam joining Mark Kennedy on the sidelines this week.

Zuiverloon's first fixture in Ipswich colours could be the East Anglia derby with Norwich hosting Town this weekend.
