RKC Waalwijk have been successful in persuading midfielder Robert Fuchs to sign a new deal.
The 31-year-old has been a key performer for the club since making the move from PSV Eindhoven in 2001.
His previous deal was up for renewal in the summer and it had been feared he would move on.
However, Fuchs put his name to a new contract on Wednesday and is now tied to the club until 2008, much to the delight of coach Adrie Koster.
"We are delighted that Robert has extended his stay for two more years," said Koster.
"He can play in a number of positions and can be of great value to RKC Waalwijk in the future."
