Willem II have announced the signing of Danish defender Thomas Baelum.
The 27-year-old has joined on a Bosman free transfer from German side MSV Duisburg, where he spent the last three seasons.
Baelum's only previous club is Aalborg and in all he has played over 150 league games in his career, including 27 last season.
The defender is hoping the move to the Eredivisie will help him earn a place in Denmark's national squad.
"I am looking forward to playing in the Dutch league and I hope to earn a place in the Danish national team with my play at Willem II," he told the club's official website.
