Feher not happy with ban

Willem II midfielder Csaba Feher has appealed against his four match ban.

Willem II midfielder Csaba Feher has appealed against his four-match ban.

The Hungarian was handed the suspension after supposedly elbowing a player in the recent game against Sparta Rotterdam, but an enquiry will now be held to review the incident.

Match referee Rien Koopman missed the foul when it happened, but The KNVB decided punishment was necessary after viewing TV replays.

Feher and his team did not accept the findings and demanded another look, and the commission's decision is expected later in the week.

Willem II are currently languishing near the bottom of the Dutch League, and will be desperate to hang on to a key player as they seek to move out of the relegation zone.
