Dutch club land duo on season-long loan deals
NAC Breda have completed a double capture with the signing of Santi Kolk and Milano Koenders on season-long loan deals.
Forward Kolk is contracted at FC Union Berlin until 2013, but joins Breda with the option to buy at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old is no stranger to the Eredivisie having previously represented Heerenveen, ADO Den Haag, Feyenoord, Excelsior and Vitesse.
Breda technical director Jeffrey van As told the club's
official website: "In Santi Kolk we have a player that can be deployed at four positions. He is good at all positions up front.
"Santi is a creative player who combines flair with scoring ability. Moreover, he is an experienced player with nearly 300 official matches to his name. "
Return
Defender Koenders returns to Breda having also spent last season on loan at the Eredivisie side from parent club AZ Alkmaar.
The 24-year-old told
Voetbal International: "I am glad that NAC hired me again. I did not need a second to think about it.
"I had a fun year last year and I'm hoping for another great season at NAC."
The duo's arrival provides a boost to the Breda squad after the departure of 23-year-old striker Fouad Idabdelhay.
The hitman has departed NAC, where he spent four seasons, for German third-tier side Osnabruck on a two-year deal.
