NEC Nijmegen have vowed to fend off any interest in Romano Denneboom during the January transfer window.It has been rumoured that Willem II will launch a bid for the striker when the transfer window opens in the New Year.
NEC have responded to the news by informing the player and his agent that they will not contemplate selling the striker in the January transfer window.
"We have decided not to cooperate on interest from any clubs for players who are part the fist team of NEC," the club said in a statement.
