The 51-year-old has a contract until 2004, but reports have suggested that he will leave at the end of the current campaign.
Neeskens is in his third season at NEC and he has produced an improvement every year.
After finishing eleventh and eighth in his first two seasons, NEC are now pushing for a European place and currently lie fifth in De Eredivisie.
"We'll talk first about the three games that are still to come this season," Neeskens told Omroep Gelderland.
"That is the most important thing to me."
Meanwhile, one person who is leaving NEC is Georgi Hristov and he is in talks with Willem II.
The 27-year-old former Barnsley star wants to stay in Holland and Nijmegen have already told him that his contract with them will not be renewed.
The Macedonian star moved to NEC in 2000, but he is now ready to move on.
Willem president Barry Hulshof told Brabants Daglbad that they would have to raise some cash first.
"We have to sell a player first," he said.
