NAC Breda midfielder Nemanja Gudelj is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after undergoing successful knee surgery earlier this week.
The 20-year-old Serbian went under the knife on Wednesday morning after tearing his meniscus at Ajax two weeks ago.
Reports suggest Gudelj will now be out of action for around three months, with the defensive midfielder set to spend four weeks on crutches.
"There is now a splint on my knee so I don't overwork it," he told NUSport. "I'll have four weeks on crutches and then I can begin the rehabilitation process."
