Former Darlington striker Clyde Wijnhard has missed the chance to win a return to his homeland with NAC Breda.
The 32-year-old was handed the opportunity to earn a contract with the Eredivisie outfit during a trial with the club.
Wijnhard was involved in Tuesday's friendly with Steau Bucharest but failed to impress watching coaching staff.
Meanwhile, fellow trialist Quido Lanzaat will also not be offered a contract at the FujiFilm Stadion.
The Dutch defender is searching for a new club after being released by 1860 Munich at the end of last season.
