Belgian giants Genk are reportedly ready to take Orlando Engelaar from NAC Breda.Genk have confirmed on their official website that they have already spoken with the 25-year-old midfielder - who is still contracted to Breda until 2007.
Breda have yet to clarify their thoughts on any move but Genk are keen to conclude a deal by the end of the week.
It has also been reported that Genk are pursuing Partizan Belgrade's Sasa Ilic, who is the club's first choice transfer target.
However, talks with the Serbian have not run smoothly and the club are thought to have grown restless with the deal.
