Eindhoven coach not happy with striker

PSV coach Fred Rutten admits he is 'generally dissatisfied' with out-of-favour striker Danny Koevermans. The 32-year-old has fallen down Rutten's pecking order at the Eredivisie club, and failed to impress during a rare start against ADO Den Haag earlier this month. Koevermans was dropped to the bench for the subsequent league game at AZ Alkmaar, and missed out on Thursday's UEFA Europa League clash at Lille entirely after being axed from the squad. The Netherlands international is in the final months of his contract with the Dutch giants, and no extension has been offered when it runs out in June. According to Rutten, the reason for Koevermans' fall from grace lies with the player himself. "I am generally dissatisfied with Danny," Rutten told Voetbal International. "After the match against ADO, I was not satisfied with him." Koevermans, who arrived in Eindhoven from AZ in 2007, has already made it clear he intends to depart PSV when his contract expires in the summer.
