Dordrecht are eyeing a replacement for now Hearts striker Mark de Vries, and are keen to add Dijkhuizen to their club.
Coach Jos van Eck said: "'He is a striker who plays with his back to the goal and is always free to play the ball to."
Dijkhuizen is still not sure who he wants to sign for, telling Rotterdams Dagblad: "I surely hope to be able to play for one of the two clubs by Friday."
The 30-year-old is free to leave Utrecht, having spent last season on loan at Emmen, and is looking to finalise his move in order to get his career back on track.
