Vitesse Arnhem went to the top of the Eredivisie as two goals in the final four minutes by Mike Havenaar and Davy Propper guided them to a 3-1 win over FC Utrecht.
Vitesse had gone ahead through Christian Atsu's penalty after 31 minutes before Steve De Ridder levelled after 63 minutes.
The game appeared to be heading for a draw before Havenaar gave the hosts the lead four minutes from time, with Propper sealing victory in the final minute.
Victory guided Vitesse two points clear of AZ Alkmaar at the top of the table, even if just until Sunday.
The table, though, is incredibly tight with five points separating the top eight teams.
FC Groningen are two points behind Vitesse in third after an emphatic 3-0 win at Heracles.
Two goals in six second-half minutes from Richairo Zivkovic (61) and Filip Kostic (67) put the visitors firmly in control before the latter got his second five minutes from time.
Go Ahead Eagles won 4-1 at Roda JC in a game where all but one of the goals were scored in the first half.
Jarchinio Antonia scored twice in two minutes (nine and 10) before Mitchell Donald pulled one back shortly before the half-hour mark.
However, Xander Houtkoop restored the two-goal lead 11 minutes before the break with Erik Falkenburg rounding off the scoring after 55 minutes.
Mathias Gehrt scored twice as ADO Den Haag beat Cambuur Leeuwarden 3-0.
Gehrt scored in the 13th and 71st minutes, sandwiching a goal after 32 minutes by Mike van Duinen.
