Salmon not keen on loan

Glen Salmon may well see out his contract with Groningen after rejecting the chance to move on loan to either Willem II or NAC Breda.
Salmon has slipped down the pecking order at Groningen and the club are willing to let him move on in January.
Willem II and NAC came forward with loan proposals, but the striker is looking for the security of a long-term deal and is likely to run down his contract in Groningen.
"In principle he will just serve his contract at FC Groningen," Salmon's agent Chiel Dekker told AD Sportwereld.
