Willem II are planning to move for Groningen striker Glen Salmon in the January transfer window.
The Tricolores have made a poor start to the season and chairman Hans Verbunt said following the weekend defeat to Twente that he would inject some fresh blood into the squad in January.
Coach Dennis van Wijk has been informed he can bring in at least two players in January and Salmon's name is in the frame.
Salmon has slipped out of the picture at Groningen and reports suggest the South African would relish a January move to Tilburg.
The forward's contract is due to expire in the summer and Groningen are unlikely to stand in his way in January.
