Volendam have swooped to complete the loan signing of Jack Tuyp from Groningen.
The striker only moved to Groningen last summer from Volendam, but failed to hold down a regular spot in Ron Jans' side.
Having made just 11 appearances and failing to find the target, Jans has opted to allow Tuyp to move on.
Volendam have handed the 21-year-old a season-long loan deal, with Groningen hopeful he will be able to rediscover his goalscoring touch in the second tier of the Dutch league.
Tuyp is tied to the Oosterpark club until the summer of 2009 and Jans has not given up hope of the forward fulfilling his potential in the future.
