Jamaique Vandamme is heading to hospital for tests on his heart after reporting chest pain during Roda's clash with Heerenveen.
The Belgian forward suffered from an irregular heartbeat and the club are not prepared to take any chances with his well-being.
"I had a scare and I don't know what happened," the 21-year-old told Algemeen Dagblad.
"After falling to the ground I felt a pain in my chest and couldn't move."
Vandamme is in his second season at Roda and has a contract which runs until 2010.
