De Graafschap have reinforced their squad with the capture Sven Vandenbroeck.
The Belgian has moved on a free transfer from Roda JC, having been deemed surplus to requirements by the Kerkrade outfit.
The 25-year-old was approached by Eredivisie basement boys De Graafschap and quickly concurred on an 18-month contract.
The midfielder, though, has inserted a relegation release clause in his contract and will be able to move on in the summer for free if the Superboeren fail to climb away from trouble.
De Graafschap are making waves in the transfer market in a bid to avoid the drop and Vandenbroeck could be joined at the club by Georgi Hristov.
The Macedonian striker joined the club for a trial last week and it is believed that he will sign a contract once he has passed a medical.
