Ivan Vicelich's hat-trick was the highlight of a stunning display from Roda, who ruthlessly ripped apart the visitors.
New Zealand ace Vicelich put Roda ahead on 17 minutes before ADO hauled themselves level just three minutes later - courtesy of Gijs Cales.
But Roda were back in front on 42 minutes when Vicelich plundered his second goal of the encounter.
After the break, Roda stepped on the gas with Edrissa Sonko making it 3-1 with 20 minutes remaining.
Aroune Kone's 83rd minute goal dashed any hopes of an ADO revival and Vicelich completed his hat-trick with a minute left on the clock.
