Dutchman heading for Germany

Heerenveen star Bas Dost has confirmed he has agreed a move to Wolfsburg. Sky Sports revealed earlier this week that the German outfit were still leading the chase for Dost despite interest from elsewhere. Newly promoted West Ham had been linked, but Wolfsburg have moved to finalise a deal for Dost, who was top scorer in Holland last year with 32 goals. The 23-year-old striker told his new club's official website: "For me this is a big chance to prove myself with VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga. "As young boy I was already interested in the Bundesliga." Dost says Felix Magath took away all his doubts about moving to Germany. "I directly had a good feeling with the conversations with Felix Magath," he said. "The first time we spoke was in the winter break, but I wanted to finish the season in the Heerenveen shirt. Now I can't wait to play for Wolfsburg."
