Sparta Rotterdam are lining up a move for Heerenveen goalkeeper Boy Waterman.
Waterman is currently the back-up to Brian Vandenbussche and Sparta are hoping to land him on loan until the end of the season.
Sparta have a co-operation agreement with Heerenveen and hope that will work in their favour as they look to upgrade their goalkeeping talent.
Current keepers Joost Terol and Rene Ponk both have six months remaining on their contracts and may be heading for the exit in the summer.
Sparta are keen for Waterman to be the long-term replacement but hope to bring him in on loan initially.
