PSV Eindhoven remain at the top of the Eredivisie standings after a 3-0 win over AZ Alkmaar on Saturday.

Adam Maher (29, 41) scored twice after Luciano Narsingh's 20th minute opener as PSV kept one step ahead of second-placed Ajax, who were held to a 1-1 draw by FC Twente.

Twente looked on course to claim victory after Jesus Corona's 17th minute goal but Kolbeinn Sigthorsson levelled the scores in the 71st minute to put Ajax four points behind PSV.

Elsewhere, Elvis Manu scored two goals in seven minutes as Feyenoord defeated rock bottom Heracles 2-1.

Manu netted in the 12th and 19th minutes with Jeroen Veldmate's 63rd minute penalty not enough for the visitors.

Meanwhile, Vitesse defeated Willem II 4-1 thanks to goals from Davy Propper (15), Bertrand Traore (45), Denys Oliynyk (88) and Abiola Dauda (90), with Ben Sahar's 57th minute goal for Willem scant consolation.

In Saturday's other game, 10-man ADO Den Haag drew 1-1 with NAC after Michiel Kramer's 67th minute goal cancelled out Mats Seuntjens's effort in the 31st minute.

ADO had to play the majority of the game with a one-man disadvantage after Wilfried Kanon was sent off in the eighth minute.
