Dutch starlet Stefan De Vrij looks set to snub a move to the Premier League this summer, Sky Sports understands.
The highly-rated 20-year-old defender is contracted to Feyenoord until 2014 after signing a new deal last season.
De Vrij, despite his age, has played nearly 100 times for the Rotterdam giants and was included in Holland's preliminary squad for Euro 2012.
A host of Premier League clubs had been tracking De Vrij and summer bids were being lined up.
Aston Villa, Everton and Newcastle were believed to be among those looking at making a move for the impressive defender.
However, De Vrij is understood to be intent on staying for at least one more season at De Kuip where he will play UEFA Champions League football next season.
"There are a number of clubs looking at Stefan, but we will make no further comment at this stage," Carl Thomas of SEG international told Sky Sports.
