Salomon Kalou's future at Feyenoord has been plunged into doubt following reports of unrest in the camp.
Feyenoord crashed out of the UEFA Champions League play-offs to Ajax at the weekend and the players held a crunch meeting to air their views on the situation at De Kuip.
Kalou, though, was not present at the meeting and it is being claimed that the player came in for fierce criticism, with some of the senior players reportedly questioning his commitment to the cause.
The forward has reacted with shock at the reports, as he said: "What I find a pity is that the people at Feyenoord have not come to me if they are unhappy with me."
Kalou has long been linked with a move to PSV Eindhoven and the Dutch champions are sure to be monitoring the situation with interest.
Feyenoord, meanwhile, are confident of thrashing out a new deal with talented Ghana youngster Mohammed Abubakari.
