Timmy Simons' agent has confirmed the midfielder is wanted by Feyenoord.Timmy Simons' agent Guy Bonny has confirmed to skysports.com that his client is wanted by Feyenoord, although he would be interested in a move to The Premiership.
The Club Brugge midfielder is contracted to the Jupiler League outfit until the summer of 2008, however Feyenoord are keen to capture his services during the close-season.
Ruud Gullit has already watched the 28-year-old star and following his recommendations the club have been in touch with Brugge with regards to signing Simons.
The former TH Diest and Lommel SK ace is interested in a move to De Kuip, although he is keeping his options open in case clubs from around Europe join the chase.
"Feyenoord are interested in his services. A lot of clubs have enquired, then you don't hear anything but Feyenoord has contacted the club," explained Bonny to skysports.com.
"There is no interest from clubs in England up until now. There were two years ago, but nothing now. Two years ago Aston Villa were interested.
"The player is open to any opportunity. It's [England] a great country to play football. So naturally he'd be willing to consider any possibility.
"It's a good move [to Feyenoord], but it's not done. It's in the early stage of negotiations where they have officially asked Brugge is they can talk to the player.
"If not other clubs come in for him in the coming weeks then either a deal will be done or he'll stay."
